Here are the Garden Apartments that once was along US1 in Fort Lauderdale. “Perfect one room homes”. “Opposite the Chamber of Commerce”.
The postcard is from Viola and sent from Hollywood, November 25th, 1952. The postcard was sent to Mrs. Lloyd Snyder, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Viola writes that she is so “comfortable and happy here.” Apparently her husband had been ill and had “so improved he plays shuffleboard everyday.” She ends with “(Come down)”.
