Here’s the Halcon Hotel in Downtown, Miami, in “Boom” time 1924. This structure had a French chateau look on the outside, but supposed looked far more plain on the inside. It sat on Flagler Street until 1938 when it was demolished to be replaced by the Alfred I. duPont Building.
