Besides his great movies, Burt Reynold’s has been great bringing film to Florida. His 1997 film, ‘Big City Blues’ features Southeast Florida locations including one of the most famous businesses in Florida, ‘Wolfie’s’ in Miami Beach. The scenery of Miami Beach is about the only real highlight of this otherwise quirky, odd film.

“Wolfie” Cohen opened ‘Wolfie’s’ in 1954 and started a tradition with many in Miami that continued until it’s closing in 2008. The restaurant and deli has been featured in many films over the years. In ‘Big City Blues’ the restaurant is featured in one scene that includes the very rare interior shots of the building. Here are three images as the scene opens to it’s close.
