Swampy’s Florida Postcards: Meiner’s Pit Bar B Q Restaurant, Orlando, @1970.
Sam Meiner set up quite a bar b q business in the 1960s through the early ’80s. The business expanded into catering. The restaurant business ended and this building was demolished. The catering was sold to Tim Webber catering which was also later sold, but not sure which one merged Webber into their business.
Children of Mack Meiner opened Bubbalou’s Bodacious Bar B Q which started in 1986 on the heals of the original Meiner’s closing.
