Swampy’s #Florida Postcard: Panama Ciy Auditorium, 1969.
In 1969 the Panama City Auditorium opened. This card commemorated the opening. Forty four years later the auditorium is now called the Marina Civic Center. The building is basically the same and the plane is in the same place.
Sadly, the facility has been closed since 2018 when category 5 hurricane Michael ripped across the structure.
Despite efforts to revive it and the reaction to the virus situation, the building lies dormant.
