Swampy’s Florida Postcards : The First National Bank of Tampa.
Remember when banks looked like this? Well, maybe not just like this. I recall the couches and comfy feel of the local bank. This was the Mezzanine Lounge in the First National Bank of Tampa. The back of the postcard describes the Lounge “with its black Renfrew marble columns, teakwood paneling, luxurious comfort…a popular meeting spot in downtown Tampa.”
The postcard wasn’t mailed. It seems Mary was going to mail it. On the back of the postcard is the message, “got Life”. It was to be sent to Henry B. Martin, York, Pennsylvania.
This postcard is part of the Swampy’s Florida collection.
