Swampy’s Florida Postcard : The interior of Wolfie’s, St. Petersburg, 1960s.

Wolfies in Miami Beach did so well that the owner, Wilfred Cohen, decided to expand. One of those expansions was on Central Avenue in St. Petersburg. Best I’ve learned is that it was open from the 1960s to the early 1970s. The back of the post card states “Famous for Good Food the World Over”. If you have any memories of the St. Petersburg Wolfie’s, please note them below!
The postcard is not post marked, so I don’t know the year.
This postcard is part of the Swampy’s Florida collection.

Went to Wolfies in the mid-50s with my family. It was great fun because they had “Wolfie” masks made out of paper for kids. The last year I remember being there was 57. I’d love to have one of those masks if there are any in collection.
Would you mean the Wolfie’s in Cocoa beach? I found a mask for that location, but not for St. Petersburg or Miami Beach.
I went to Wolfies in the late 50s with my parents. They had gigantic banana splits and sundaes.
