Swampy’s Florida Ads from today in 1950: Build your hog house, Annis Building Supply, Gainesville

Something needed in North Central Florida in 1950 were hog houses. They still are needed today, just not as much as folks have gone from growing hog to going to Wal-Mart.

Seems Annis Building Supply is no longer with us. i did find Annis Plumbing in Gainesville, which I would guess is related or what the building supply company turned into.

This was my grandfather’s business. After moving from Gainesville, he resided in Cocoa, Florida where he established Cocoa Hills Inc. and build many houses and shopping centers in the Cocoa area. Is there any chance I could get a higher resolution scan of this advertisement?
