Here’s a postcard of “A Charming Twosome at Miami’s Monkey Jungle“. I seem to recall reading somewhere that this woman was identified. Can’t recall where or what I read. If you know, please let me know in a comment below.
This postcard was mailed March 8th, 1954 from Jim to Mrs. G.E. (Something i can’t read) Jr.. I also wouldn’t have been able to make out the location of G.E. if not for my right now reading a few biography’s of humorist Robert Benchley. Benchley went to an exclusive school in Exeter, New Hampshire, and that is where this postcard ended up. Jim wrote an abbreviation for New Hampshire in an odd way. Below is what the back of the card looks like.
Looks like Mrs. G.E. Coleman, Jr. to me. Address 4 Marston St., Exeter, N.H. Says: Here’s my friend but different partner. Be sure to go upstairs in Pan American Terminal while you wait it is very nice. Grandma will like it, Love, Jim
