Swampy’s #Florida Travels: Imploding Orlando City Hall Pinball Machine!
During my travels through Tampa a while back, I came across this ‘Lethal Weapon III’ pinball machine. Included in the graphic is the implosion of the 1957 Orlando City Hall, much as shown at the start of the film.
In between the top large graphic and the game playing are changing lit graphics that includes ‘Tales for the Crypt’ for some reason.
Where in Tampa did you see this game? BTW, Tales from the Crypt only appears during the attract mode, not when playing. It appears as a “Coming Soon” ad. TFCT was released at a later date by Data East.
I was doing my typical pinballing across the state. In this case running from St Petersburg to and through Pasco County. I believe this was the ABC Pizza on Hillsborough Avenue. near 275. I’m steamed with myself for not properly marking this photo. Next time through, and have time, I will figure out where this was!
