Swampy’s #Florida Ads from Today, 1947: Southeast Steel, Orlando
Proving a business in Florida can last is the 76 year old Southeast Steel in Downtown Orlando. Here’s an advertisement 7 years after they opened along the railroad tracks on Amelia Avenue (in 1947 it was actually Amelia Street). This ad appeared in the January 19, 1947 edition of the Sunday Sentinel-Star, now known as the Orlando Sentinel.
