Now here’s a deal! The building illustrated still exists in Winter Park on Park Avenue.
This ad is from an Orlando – Winter Park Attraction Guide from 1962.
The guide is part of the Swampy’s Florida collection.
By the way, these recent ads are mostly from two publications. Swampy’s has tons of these publications and will have other locations as time goes on from all time frames.
If you have any memories of this ‘Swetman Travel’ or Winter Park, please feel free to leave them here!

My mother Alyene Hays was the Girl Scout Troop Leader of Troop 74. She drove her car with Scouts to Mexico City, Cuernavaca, and Taxco in 1963. I was the mascot on the trip as I was only 11 years old. I believe one of the Scouts was from the Swetman family. My mother passed away last fall. While going through all Mom’s stuff, my sister & I found a small book called THIS IS MEXICO. On the cover is a stamp with Swetman and the address and phone number of the business. If anyone from the family would like this booklet, I would like to send it to them.
