Vero, the dog, has decided to run for Cat Catcher which has Zuber a bit nervous.
The day recognizes the famous ‘Checkers’ speech made by vice presidential candidate Richard Nixon in 1952. In the speech he spoke about his new dog, ‘Checkers’. It was 2 decades later that Nixon would utter the words, “I am not a crook.” during a speech at Walt Disney World.
