Swampy's Florida

This is a photo taken along the one mile trail in Pine Forest Park, west of DeLand, in 2013. Since then the park has had a ton of money dumped on it. The trail was expanded from one mile to two. But the natural Florida aspect has been severely downplayed for basketball courts, sports and playgrounds. A once very peaceful park can be a bit rowdy at times. Especially weekends. Take note of your surroundings if you are looking for a quiet stroll.
