This postcard wasn’t mailed and states on the back the attraction to this bridge that is still there today: Fishing.
“Fishermen line the bridge over the Myakka River at El Jobean, Fla., in this view taken from the embankment nearby. The catch from these waters will invlude Snook, Mavkerel, Sea trout, Flounder, Whiting, Sheephead and even the mighty Tarpon!”
