Swampy's Florida

It the Columbus Hotel in Miami! The structure was started during the 1920s boom and then financial troubles set in. Movie mogul Steven Lynch stepped in with creative financial leverage and took over and finished the building. The hotel closed in the 1960s and demolished in the 1980s. A large condominium project with an odd name, that includes the address, 50 Biscayne , was built in the empty lot in 2005.
