Swampy's Florida

Here’s the Hotel Soreno that majestically stood in St. Petersburg. This is the same angle as was seen in the after credits scene in the 1992 film, ‘Lethal Weapon 3’. The closing scene has the building imploding and crashing to the ground, which was arranged by the film makers, the City of St. Petersburg, property owners and the demolition team.

The film features two building implosions in Florida. The ending has the Soreno, above. The otehr is the Richard Boone Rogers designed 1957 Orlando City Hall building. That bit of demotion opens the film. The replacement City Hall structure can be seen in the film with the product placement of a Coca-Cola sign.
