Swampy’s Postcard Monday: B & B Fisheries, Daytona Beach.
Here’s the long running and very well known B&B Fisheries in Daytona Beach. It had been opened more than 50 years and recently closed. Besides purchasing fish, it was also a restaurant known to serve the freshest fish. It was a seafood icon on the east coast of Florida.
If you have any memories of B & B Fisheries, please leave some below!
Here’s a visual map of where the B & B building sits. The buidling is to the left of the image. If you know how to negotiate your way around the map, you can see the entire front of the building. It appears to be currently empty at the time of the shot. Haven’t been by recently to know if something is there now.
I enjoyed going to this restaurant every year with my parents fom 1950-1960 when we went to Daytona for vacation from NC. So sorry to hear it closed. The best seafood and hush puppies ever!
I grew up in Daytona and ate there often the people there were real nice. So sorry to see them close. Sincerely dana white
