Swampy’s Florida Friday Train Stops: Boynton Beach Train Station.
Common travel in the latter half of the 1800s was horse & wagon (To the left of the depot) to a train or to a ferry to cross rivers. Or some combination thereof. Often there were so few going hither and yon there was no waiting to get on a train or ferry or using horse and wagon.
This late 1800s photograph is of the second Florida East Coast Railroad station built in Boynton Beach.
