Swampy Live: at a converted Dairy Queen, Pompano Beach.

Dairy Queen had originally been a short distance from this location in a 1960s built franchise. US1 expanded and took out the parking lot years ago and then five years ago the Publix next door decided to expand. The original building was bulldozed and moved into Pompano Beach.

Instead of building a new structure, the owner converted the former gas station into a new DQ. This one opened May 2008. Brilliantly and stylishly done giving cover fro walk up and drive-in from our messy Florida weather.
