Paul “Gabe” Gabriel, Gabriel’s Sub Shop in Orlando, has died.

Stopped at the original Gabriel’s Sub Shop in Orlando and just learned that two weeks ago Paul Gabriel died. He started the Orlando institution back in 1958 on Edgewater Drive in the area of College Park in Orlando.
Over the years other franchises opened. Eventually the Gabriel left he original location to move into a former ‘Chicken Unlimited’ building, also on Edgewater Drive.
The original still thrives in the ever changing area of College Park. Paul Gabriel had left a legacy carried on by his family that will never be forgotten.
