A postcard with the image of a 1937 Mercedes-Benz 540-K with “huge eight cylinder supercharged engine”. According to the back of the postcard, the King of Afghanistan bought this in 1937 for $40,000. It was at one time part of the automobile collection shown in the Carriage Cavalcade at Silver Springs in Ocala.
This postcard wasn’t mailed and unsure of it’s date. Appears to be 1960s.
This postcard is part of the Swampy’s Florida collection.
