Swampy’s Florida Sunday Services: Peace Memorial Presbyterian Church, Clearwater, 1944.
It was 17 members of the Clearwater community who came together in 1891 to start the Clearwater Presbyterian Church. Today it’s known as the Peace Memorial Presbyterian Church.
This is a postcard mailed June 6th, 1944 from William Christie, 718 Lauden Avenue, Dunedin, Florida to Edna A. Fisher, R #2, Box 29, Falls Road, Portersville, Pennsylvania. The note from Mr. Christie notes “I can hardly get away from the radio long enough to write.” Imagine that today!
