Here is the Spring Side Motel in Ocala on Silver Springs Boulevard in the 1950s. The postcard declares a Free T.V. in every room, 28 units and 100% air conditioned.

Here’s what the motel looked like in 2007:

The motel is still standing. However it no longer has the cheery look and the name has changed to, the dreadful, ‘Economy Extended Stay Motel’. Ugh!
