Saw this flat bed with a team of bulls on it. The flat bed was going south towards Tampa. Maybe even further south to Sarasota or Fort Myers or even Miami. I was curious where such a load was going. Anybody know?

Swampy and Rob Smith, Jr. were part of a panel discussion put together by Rob for the opening of a Peanuts exhibit at the Orange County Regional History Center. Below are a few photos taken at the event. More to come later.
Opening the event was Tim Hollis who spoke about cartooning and tourism. Tim has many books, including quite a few about Florida. He also introduced his newest book, ‘Part of a Good Breakfast’ a book about cereal premiums. You can find Tim’s book by clicking here.
Rob spoke about his cartooning work and specifically about Swampy and the coloring/guide books. He spoke about working on something that is a passion and finding a creative outlet to produce something constructive that helps others. too.
Allen Bellman, one of the last of the early comic book artists who drew the Human Torch and Captain America, spoke on the panel of being a comic book artist. After a life in New York City, he now lives in Southeast Florida.
Bruce Beattie, who drew editorial cartoons for the Daytona Beach News-Journal for nearly 30 years, spoke of the work he does now for the Wall Street Journal, amongst others. We’ll get more photos posted as they come in from others at the event.
Finished up the event with Swampy and the crowd at the event!
Tim was so kind to open an event Swampy was involved with yesterday at teh Orange County Regional History Museum that it seems best to profile on e of his books on book day. This is a wonderful book filled with images of a multitude of advertising from so many hotels, roadside attractions and much more. Intertwined is text with stories and history of the areas and the campaigns.
