Swampy’s Sunday Services: St. Anne’s Shrine, Lake Wales.
St. Ann’s Shrine was built by French-speaking Catholics in 1923 east of Lake Wales along the shore of Lake St. Anne. The Diocese of St. Augustine de-sanctified the shrine. Remnants of the shrine still exist in the area.
