2014-0903-SkyscraperDay

Swampy, Zuber and Trilby celebrate Skycraper Day amongst our state’s greatest skyscrapers, the cypress trees. Floria is home to the largest amount of giant trees of different varieties in the country.

The cypress tree is certainly one of the grandest. It’s scope and size are hard to equal. The state used to be covered in skyscraper trees before the logging industry cut them down to be made into products. Now the hearty giants that made it past the lumber industry are scattered few and far between all over the state.

Monster trees can be found in public parks and private backyards. The tropical aspects of the state are perfect for plant growth and trees thrive. Some grow better in certain parts of the state than others. However, some grow well state wise. For instance the largest cypress in south Florida have relatives in north Florida of the same size.
