If you weren’t familiar with Muhammad Ali’s development at the 5th Street Gym, this photograph of Ali and the Beatles at that same gym in February of 1964 may seem surreal.

Here’s a photo of Muhammad Ali training at the 5th Avenue Gym via the Miami History Museum.

The 5th Street Gym, as it was was demolished in 1993. This odd structure is in its place. Folks still stop here to remember “The Greatest”, Muhammad Ali.
