Swampy’s #Florida Postcards: The Golden Buddha, Sarasota, 1970s.

Here’s a postcard of the once very popular Golden Buddha restaurant on the Tamiami Trail in Sarasota. Today this same place is now a Barnacle Bill’s Seafood and Market. The tower has been greatly modified as can be seen in the photograph below from 2016. I just drove by the restaurant Saturday and don’t recall that walling up front.
