Swampy’s #Florida along the Florida Trail in the Ocala National Forest.
Sunday took the Florida Trail in the Ocala National Forest for a few miles. Started out at, the infamous hikers stop, the 88 Store out in the middle of the forest and headed north. Saw no wildlife, but had the unfortunate intrusion of various very loud vehicles from distant roads rupturing the quiet of nature. This is becoming a problem along the trails and everywhere I travel in Florida.
Nabbed a pint of, Florida made, DeConna Butter Pecan ice cream at the 88 Store to cool off during the hike.
