Here’s a postcard on ice! There’s no postmark on the back, but would have to be 1964 or not much after. It was in 1964 that the new Sheraton hotel opened along the Fort Lauderdale Beach. The hotel included the French themed Cabaret Caprice with a dance floor that also doubled as an ice rink for skating shows. Also in the hotel was a penthouse restaurant and the Whisley-a-Go-Go Lounge.

The same building stands today, but now run by Westin and part of other buildings they have in adjoining blocks.
