Swampy’s Florida Collection: Miami pennant celebrated a tourist visit!
Banners were a very popular tourist souvenir from the 1920s to the present. The popularity has lessened considerably over the past 3 decades. There are major tourist spots that still have banners available. Some of the dwindling souvenir shops have banners celebrating various nearby places.
Banners were available for just about every significant tourist stop. Cities, too. This one is one of Miami with an illustration of the entire state of Florida. I figure this one is from about 1950.
