Here Swampy finds the Southgate sign at the Southgate Shopping Center on US98 in Lakeland.

Below is a photo of shops inside and below that is a wide view of the arch. There were many arches around Florida at one time. It is believed this is the last one. Please share if you know of another.

The arch is forever imprinted on celluloid for the film ‘Edward Sissorhands’. If you haven’t seen the film, look for the arch and many locations in the Tampa Bay area.
