Here’s, actress, Lynn Borden with her collared pal from the film, ‘Frogs’, in from of the 1897 Wesley House in Eden Gardens State Park in Santa Rosa County. The home was used as the home Sam Elliott, Joan Van Ark and Ray Milland were staying as reptile and bug creatures, especially frogs, attacked from all over.

Borden with the leashed frog was to be a scene in the film. In the end, just this publicity shot exists.

The bench and table shown are still there along with the gardens beside the house, which are a peaceful, botanical wonder …not loaded with frogs as seen in the film. 🙂

Though descendants of the frogs brought in for the film still roam the property. Hundreds of the native and exotic frogs escaped into the park. Because of this, various species of exotic frogs can be found throughout Santa Rosa County coast.

The home is still there and a fascinating tour is offered to tell the story of this structure and others that used to be in the area.
