Swampy's Florida

Here’s an undated postcard for the now long gone and nearly forgotten Tropical Hobbyland tourist attraction that was in Miami. The Miccosukee Tribe of indians were mostly featured with the women posing in handmade & colorful costumes and the men wrestling alligators, as seen above. There were also bird and monkey shows at the site. The photo above is probably from the early ’50s.
