Venetian Gardens was once a private botanical area. The City of Leesburg took it over and the area became a public park that had a community center and ball fields. There had been a wonderful trail and boardwalk. As usual, the contractors had their way with the city over the past few years and the park was decimated with an over-sized new community center that wiped out parking and the very view above. Basically, Venetian Gardens is gone.
