Swampy’s Florida Sunday Services: First Baptist Church, Destin, Cookbook.
Here’s a 1994 cook book of the First Baptist Church of Destin. It’s got a terrific hand drawn illustration on the cover by John Boillin (Amazing to find a credit for the artist!).
The cook book is typical of those involving contracting a cookbook making company elsewhere (Circulation Services, Kansas, in this instance). After the publishers standards is a large array of recipes from members of the church at that time.
I’ve been meaning to dip in to the cookbook section of the Swampy library and post recipes from the volumes in the collection. Those should be showing up soon. Sad, these thousands of recipes from dozens of Florida-based recipe books are not accessible.
