Swampy's Florida

A view of the beach from the road that can’t be had today. A solid wall of buildings block this view and that parking is also long gone.

This postcard was mailed nearly 58 years ago, April 9th, 1964, to Janice Dimock in Auburn, Massachuetts. The card was mailed by Will and Jane. Both believe that Janice’s upcoming wedding will include a very pretty bridesmaid of Janice.

The two also write, “The beach was jam packed with college students over Easter week. Came from many states.”
Apparently the two had recently moved to Florida and claim the image of the postcard is “4 miles from my lovely new home.”
