Somebody named Betty mailed this to Missouri in 1975 informing Ed not to be worried about the “lite bill”, she’ll take care of it when she gets home. In the meantime, it looks like she was enjoying Fort Lauderdale Beach
Anybody remember the infamous Elbow Room, seen in the photo, made so famous in the film ‘Where the Boys Are’? It’s still around! The Elbo Room Ft. Lauderdale Beach is in it’s 80th year!

I grew up in Fort Lauderdale and from the time I was in high school enjoyed Spring Break. We had a thriving business in fake ID cards so that we could get into the dances and the bars. In ’75 I worked for the City of Fort Lauderdale and was involved in the prep and the clean up before and after the college crowds left.
