At one time, children could take blimp trips and, in this case, float over Miami/Dade County, the Everglades and part of the Keys. Children could experience where they are in the world and have a fascinating view of the area they live in.

The bus of children is from the Beacon Hill School Camp. The camp is part of, what is now named, Beacon Hill Preparatory School that opened in 1959 and still is there today. The school is located in the Miami Gardens area of Miami/Dade County. Looking over their website, I see no sign of blimp travel today. It’s unlikely the lawyers and insurance companies would make any business able to let members have such experiences.
