Apparently, on this day in 1956, there was a “Barn Colonial Boudoir” in the Maas Brothers department store that was, for a couple decades, in Downtown Lakeland.
I note that Borden milk is not mentioned here.

Something else to note: I can find no mention of Valentine’s Day anywhere in this February 14th, 1956, edition of the Lakeland Ledger. Shows how much the Media has sold us on an idea of the 14th being some sort of holiday.
