Swampy's Florida

This recipe is from the 2001 copy of ‘The Seabreeze by the Bay Cookbook: Recipes from our Kitchen to Yours’ by Helen & Robert Richards.

This was once a very popular restaurant that started back in 1926 in Port of Tampa. The original owners sold it in 1992 to the Richard family. Richards sold it in 2000 to folks that closed it soon after. The book came out soon after the 2000 sale. In 2012 the Richards opened a food truck version in Brandon. As can be the case the inconsistency of food served from the food truck soon closed that effort. Sadly, the Seabreeze appears not to make it to a 100 year anniversary.
