Here’s an image of Tampa from around 1924. The view is from Zack Street looking east towards Port of Tampa. That’s that waterway in the background. Though, it’s much wilder than the canaling that would further control it for continuing shipping through the area.

Note all of the trees and parking. The courthouse, in the middle ground, is still kinda there. It’s been added to and turned into a hotel with a pretentious name. The Sacred Heart Church is still there and looks the same 100 years later.

This postcard is postmarked December 22nd, 1924. Hard to read who sent the card. The message mentions that “Willard and Ernest gone fishing”. It was mailed to Mr. & Mrs. Howard James, Sinclairville, New York.
