Here’s the 1958 ground breaking of the new First National Bank building at the corner of South Orange Avenue and Church Street in Orlando. The four children are: Allen Sterchi, Catherine Capehart, Frank A. Smith III and Honey Rex. The building would later be renamed Sun Bank and then greatly added to in the late 1980s and soon after become Sun Trust.

This photo is from ‘Sun Bank-Fifty Years – The Sun Bank Story 1934-1984’ by, Swampy’s friend, Ormund Powers, who has a whole mess of books of Orlando and Florida business history books.
