The Orange County Motor Lodge was one of the premiere hotels in Orlando in the 1920s through 1950s. Inside was the Terrace restaurant and a small snack shop by the entrance. The hotel hosted many school dances and social gatherings. As time went on the business transitioned from hotel to more of an apartment building for older residents. The building was eventually demolished by the owners from out of state in 1990 with hopes of constructing a condominium tower. The land sat vacant until the late 2000s when a multi-story apartment building and car garage was built.

There’s no date on The matchbook but would approximate that it is from the 1940s.
