Henry Bishop house in Eustis from either 1913 or 1919. – Swampy’s Florida Postcards.

The postmark either is 1913 or 1919. It’s hard to tell. The correspondence is from Mrs. Hampton letting Mrs. Greenhalgh in Bloomingburg, N.Y. that Mrs. Turley is still holding her rooms in hopes she returns soon to Eustis.

AS stated on the card, “A famous well of pure Chalybeate Water on these grounds”.
Chalybeate water was at one time considered a source for healing. I have to wonder if a hundred years from now folks will be talking about the medicine being pitched today was at one time thought to do what is being told to us today. 🙂
