Swampy Live: Orlando Fashion Square and it’s Christmas.
I’ve been awarding one well decorated store in the malls I’ve gone in with a signed card. I couldn’t give one to anyone at Orlando Fashion Square. 60% have no decorations at all. Others are sparsely ornate for the holidays. Like International Mall in Tampa, this one is nearly empty.
Though the stores are holiday barren, the Santa area has the biggest splash of any mall so far. The tree is nearly two stories. It is one usually used outdoors and is set up in panels. The Santa seating area is a wonderful gingerbread house scene as you can see in the photo.
It’s baffling that there is such a huge Christmas scene in one spot and so little through the rest of the mall. Definitely a step away from days past in Florida malls.
