Swampy’s #Florida Train Stops: Florida East Coast Railroad’s “Henry M. Flagler”, 1939.
Here’s the “Henry M. Flagler”, the Florida East Coast Railroad’s first diesel engine. Between December 3rd, 1939 to December 18th, 1940, the engine pulled a train of cars between Jacksonville to Miami. After, the engine rode the same route but, this time, for a set of cars originating out of Chicago.
