Swampy's Florida

In May, 1960, the Panama City Auditorium opened. This card commemorated the opening. Forty four years later the auditorium is now called the Marina Civic Center.

Sadly, the facility closed in 2018 when category 5 hurricane Michael ripped across the structure.
Despite efforts to revive it and the reaction to the virus situation, the building lay dormant.

Starting early October, 2024, the building was demolished for another structure to be built.
My experience with new facilities built in the past 30 years, the longevity of the Marina structure to be built will be short lived.
