This unmailed postcard shows The Fontainebleu on the left and the Eden Roc on the right. The hotels had quite a rivalry back in the ’50s and still battle it out for customers today. Both hotels were designed by Morris Lapidus.
Today, both hotels have expanded to some degree since opening in the mid-’50s. The Fontainebleu, more specifically, has added a large condominium and remade the entire facility.|
